The Breakfast Club at Mawarra Public School went from strength to strength this term - a brilliant start! We served about 30 students the first day which increased to well over one hundred on the last day of term when we served sausage sandwiches. Students are enjoying the breakfast and the Principal, Renee Langdon, and school staff continue to appreciate our presence at the school. The Support Unit is especially appreciative as a lot of  their students come to school without breakfast. 

Thanks to Jeremy, Beth, Michael and Renae who have helped serve breakfast this term. Thank you for your support by providing cereal and our thanks to Bakers Delight, Camden who are providing bread for toast and to Camden Fruit Barn who are providing apples. 

We are looking to expand the serving team this term, so if you are free from 8- 9.30am on a Wednesday and are willing to get a voluntary (no cost) Working with Children Check and complete a short CVC Safe Ministry Training, please see Heather. Even if you can make yourself available once a month, that would be a great help. 

We would value your prayers for CVC volunteers as they engage with students and for the students - that they will feel supported and that the breakfast supplied will allow them to concentrate better on their education.

Lectio 365 is a free app (Apple and Android) that is a daily devotional to help you pause in the presence of God.

It is written (and vocalised) by leaders of the 24-7 Prayer movement. Their website is https://www.24-7prayer.com.

With Lectio 365 you pray the Bible by meditating on the scriptures and asking God to speak through them.
