Welcome!

We have a month full of exciting events and initiatives to share with you. Future editions of this newsletter will be sent out at the start of each month, so that you know when to expect them. We pray these updates are encouraging and help you stay connected with all that God is doing in and through our church family.

In this month's sermon, Jeremy reiterates the value of community as part of our Christian faith, and encourages us to continually look for opportunities to connect with one another in our church family. 

Our annual CV Church - Christmas in July event is packed with festive fun for all ages—think carols, crafts, winter treats, games, and a whole lot of joy.

This is an event which is designed specifically for you to spend time in extended "life giving" conversations, without having to rush off to be anywhere. 

We are very excited to invite you to Practicing the Way, which offers you a fresh look at how to be with Jesus, become like Him and do as He Did.

It features eight sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus. Whether you've just become a Chrisitan, or are simply yearning for more depth and meaning in your faith, this is for you!

Our next Meat Appreciation Night is coming up this August. 

There will be a professional wood fired BBQ Smoker on site, offering a meticulously developed blend of flavors, designed to delight any palate.

Heather Loomes, our Community Engagement Ministry Leader, has suggested some great initiatives to reach our local community and contribute to protecting the environment.

CVC Tearfund Action Group (TAG) invites you to participate in the Plastic Free July Challenge.

Camden Council are having a Recycling Drop off on 18th July.

You can sign up for ReSmart (previously RecycleSmart) – a home collection service for hard to recycle items, including the soft plastic that you cannot avoid. 

And finally, there are still more items required for baskets that will go to victims of domestic violence or people experiencing homelessness.

- For the impact of the Alpha course that recently finished.

- For the wedding of one of Albert and Lynne Castelijns' children - Stevie and Aliya - and the chance to have an extended furlough back in Australia.

- For all our amazing ministry team members in various departments, who freely give their time and skills.

- For our healthy relationship and favor with the Mawarra community, and the ability to use their facilities.

Prayer Requests

- For Peter King, who has been in hospital for many weeks now, and is awaiting open heart surgery.

- For our great team at work in our CVC Children's Ministry Team, for consistency in their ministry and for your provision as they sacrificially give their time to this ministry.

- The Hutchings (Steve, Nat, Elyse, Owen and Daniel), espeically with homeschooling.

- For our Camden region, and opportunities to be a blessing.
