Welcome to CV Connect #1 of 2025
Apologies for the late start - it has been a busy beginning to the year. We have many great things happening this year already as summarised below. Check out Jeremy's suggestion for a Daily Bible Study for 2025. The first men's M.A.N night is coming up soon - book your place now. Our first Worship Night will be on March 9. Also our first women's event is a Paint and Sip evening on March 14. You will need to book by 9th March. If you haven't heard, at last year's Carols Service a total of $1100 was donated to the Evangelical Sisters of Mary. They have advised that they purchased 200 kgs of chicken which was distributed to homeless and seniors as part of Christmas food parcels. Thank you for your generous support of that appeal! If you know of a potential Kids Pastor, please refer them to our advert on christianjobs.com.au. Easter will be in mid April this year and in addition to our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services we will be presenting a traditional Passover meal on Easter Saturday. See below for more details.

Daily Bible StudyThe suggested Daily Bible Study for 2025 is from Got Questions. This is available as an app for Apple and Android phones and also as a website. Follow the link below to learn more and see some sample questions and answers.
Also, you may have heard several people refer to 'Lectio' over the past few months. Lectio 365 is a free app (Apple and Android) that is a daily devotional to help you pause in the presence of God. It is written (and vocalised) by leaders of the 24-7 Prayer movement. Their website is https://www.24-7prayer.com. With Lectio 365 you pray the Bible by meditating on the scriptures and asking God to speak through them. |

Easter Saturday
Discover the history and beauty of Passover as we explore the links between the ancient Festival of Redemption and our Messiah as the Lamb of God! This event is designed as a "participation and preparation" meal. Come early to cook together, set the table, and enjoy the full experience of a beautiful meal. The Jews for Jesus Director will be sharing with us throughout the evening.
Ticket's will be approx $50-60 per person. Expressions of interest are being taken at this point - ticket's are not yet available.
