Welcome to CV Connect #4 of 2026Helping you better connect with Camden Valley Church Hello one and all This Sunday is Palm Sunday. The 10am service will in the hands of our Children's Ministry and is a good opportunity for families to invite friends and neighbours with children to our church. Our Easter Services are below - don't forget Daylight Savings ends on Easter Sunday morning. Also for our parents, there will be no children’s program on Good Friday but on Easter Sunday the children will be having an Easter Egg hunt instead of their usual program. Can you help our CVC Tearfund Action Group with a project that has proved very welcome and essential to some people in our Camden community? It is quick to do and has a high impact. For more details please read this project description and if you can help, contact Heather Loomes (0408580619).
The new prayer group, called 'Sip and Pray', will start on April 1st. They will meet fortnightly via a Zoom video link on Wednesday mornings from 6 to 7am. Contact Jeremy to sign up or to get more details. |

How Small Groups Enhance Community and Faith
Connect groups in church offer a welcoming space for people to build genuine relationships and share life’s journey together. They foster a sense of belonging and support, making it easier for members to grow in their faith alongside others who are facing similar challenges. These groups often provide opportunities for meaningful discussion, prayer, and practical help, allowing individuals to deepen their understanding of scripture and apply it to everyday life. By meeting regularly, connect group members can encourage each other, lend a hand when needed, and celebrate milestones together. Furthermore, connect groups empower people to serve within the local church and wider community, strengthening bonds and making a positive impact. They’re a great way to get plugged in, form lasting friendships, and experience the heart of church beyond Sunday services. After easter we will be exploring connect groups more and creating an opportunity for discussion as we prepare to start connect groups at CV Church. Jeremy |
