Helping you better connect with Camden Valley Church

Hello everyone

Don't forget our First Service is running on Sunday mornings from 8am to 9am in the Library, ahead of the Second Service at 10am.  It is a teaching service, looking at the parables Jesus used to teach about Eschatology (the study of the end times and the Second Coming of Christ).
The notes for these End Times sessions are on the website as are the audio recordings which can be found by clicking the 'Teachings' button at the top of the web Home page or by clicking the button below.

Last week we held our AGM. If you missed it, you can view it HERE. There is also reports from a number of our leaders on the website, via a link on the home page, or you can access them HERE.

At the AGM, Jeremy presented his theme for 2026, "Devoted to Fellowship". See the video of the service (above) to find out more details.

The offical induction of our new Associate Pastor, Pastor Mandy, will occur this Sunday, November 9th during the 10am service. Please come and share this significant moment for both Mandy and our church. A beautiful lunch will be served after the service.

See below for our Christmas Services as well. You can start getting into the spirit by making your own Christmas Wreath with Beth. Ladies, please register by this Sunday.

The Spirit of Hospitality

The Spirit of Hospitality

I’d like to reflect on the simple yet profound value of hospitality.

In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to overlook the importance of opening our tables and hearts to others. But hospitality is more than just sharing a meal or offering a cup of tea—it’s about welcoming the stranger, making space for others, and showing kindness without expecting anything in return.

In the Gospel, we’re reminded that when we welcome someone in need, we are welcoming Christ himself. True hospitality isn’t measured by the size of our house or the fanciness of our table, but by the warmth of our welcome. Whether it’s inviting a neighbour over for a yarn, lending a hand to a mate in need, or simply offering a smile to someone who’s feeling left out, each act of hospitality builds community and reflects the heart of JESUS.

May we aim, each day, to embody this spirit—offering a genuine welcome wherever we go.
For in doing so, we not only bless others, but find ourselves blessed as well.

Blessings,  Jeremy

Operation Christmas Child 2025

They’re on their way!

Many thanks again to all those who so generously contributed gift-filled shoeboxes either physically or online to the Operation Christmas Child project. The boxes are on their way! It is not too late to contribute a box online if you couldn’t get to the shops this year.

For just $45 AUD (price includes the $12.50 shipping label donation) you can choose a shoebox for a boy or girl, the age group, clothes, toys and other items. Once you have chosen you can write a personal note and add a photo to share with a child. Go to Build a Box.

Thanks also to the team of ladies who went to the shoebox processing centre last Saturday. We had fun!
