The Alpha course has started running each Sunday. Its not too late for you attend, so register for attendance.

Our Missions Director (Steve Burge) has given us prayer points for the Hutchings and the Casteljins.

This year's Operation Christmas Child is getting closer - the Shoebox collection will take place between Oct 14 and 26th. Thats 2 months away so now is a great time to start thinking of what could be included and scouring the shops for some bargains. First decide if it is for a boy or girl and then one of the age ranges: 2–4, 5–9, or 10–14. See suggestions for box content on how to fill the boxes.

Sunday September 1 is Father's Day and we have 2 special visitors coming to encourage us so put it on your must do list.

Alpha in Camden

A safe and honest space to explore life, faith and meaning

CV Church, in partnership with Exploring Tree Macarthur, is hosting the Alpha course commencing on August 4th from 5pm -7pm for 9 Sunday nights (except for Father’s Day, September 1st).

Prayer - Praise and Requests

Praise God for

Those who work for, volunteer with, or donate to local support agencies including Turning Point, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, Big Yellow Umbrella and Shining Stars Foundation.
The global Church and our church and our town.

Pray for

Healing and patience for Jackie Domanski as she recovers from open heart surgury.
The Middle East and the heightened tensions between Israel, Lebabnon, Palestine and Iran.
Next month's Local Goverment elections.
Our Community Engagement Committee as they discern ways our church can engage with the wider community.
The Hutchings (Steve, Nat, Elyse, Daniel and Owen):
* Continuing improvment to Steve's lower back, right hip into right leg
* Team - loss of teammates
* Friends - our boys closest friends are not in the tribe but thankfully will be visiting before we return to the village.
* Flying back to the village now that visas have been signed
The Castelijn's (Albert and Lynne):
* Quietness and Efficiency for Recording the gospel in the Banwan heart language
* Pray for the Banwan church leadership
* Albert's Mum in her new nursing home
