This Sunday evening, 13th October, will be another time of worship and praise. We are meeting at Kevin and Faith's place, across the road from Mawarra Public School, open from 7pm with a start at 7:30pm.

Our Annual General Meeting is to be held in 2 weeks time, Sunday 27th of October. The theme for the meeting will be 'Beyond Sunday'.
To enable you to vote at the AGM you need to have a Voting Membership.
To renew your membership from last year or to apply for a new membership, fill out the Voting Membership Form - it only takes less than 2 minutes. Forms will also be available at the services. Forms will be accepted up until 20th October.

Australia is one of the safest, healthiest, and most generous countries in the world. Yet, Australia's international aid contribution is only 0.68% of the federal budget. As global need increases, and people just like us are in need of help, Australia is giving less. It doesn’t really feel like being good neighbours. But you can make a difference - pray and act. Community Engagement

Operation Christmas Child

If you are preparing a shoebox, thank you!
Please pray for the child who will receive your gifts and for their family and community as they hear the good news of the gospel.

Please bring gift-filled shoeboxes to church either this Sunday or next - 13th or 20th October.
To pay for transport costs, please make sure that you either put $12.50 in an envelope inside the shoebox, or scan the QR code on the box or pay online. Then you can print out the barcoded label that will come by email and affix it to the shoebox.

If you do not have time to shop to fill a shoebox, it is possible to pay to have a box filled on your behalf.

Donations for costs of postage or the magazine, 'The Greatest Adventure' can also be made here in lieu of packing a shoebox.

Prayer - Praise and Requests

Praise God for

The return of Zac Gorton back home and to church.
The collection and distribution of gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world in the coming months.
Those who work for, volunteer with, or donate to local support agencies including Turning Point, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, Big Yellow Umbrella and Shining Stars Foundation.
International agencies such as Tearfund and Compassion that encourage and support local groups making positive change in their own country.

Pray for

Healing of Georgie Woods' mother Julie, who is in hospital following surgery.
The worsening situation in the Middle East with Lebanon, Gaza, Israel and Iran.
The conflict between Russia and the Ukraine.
The upcoming Australian fire season - for those that live in fire-prone areas and for those that protect us.
The Social Media Summit happening this week, exploring and addressing the impacts of social media.
The Hutchings (Steve, Nat, Elyse, Owen and Daniel) as they minister in their tribe.
The Castelijn's (Albert and Lynne).
The people of Afghanistan and the humanitarian crisis they face and groups like Tearfund and their partners bringing hope and practical help to many.
