Election Day Stall at Mawarra

Thank you to those who have volunteered to bake or assist with the election day sausage sizzle and cake stall of Mawarra school this Saturday. Please pray for safety, great community engagement and a good amount of fundraising for Mawarra Public School.Thank you for your support.

A heads up that filled boxes for Operation Christmas Child can be brought to church on the 13th and 20th of October.

Heather will have brochures, boxes and labels at church this Sunday.

Praise God for

• The recovery of Jackie Domanski from surgury.
• Those who work for, volunteer with, or donate to local support agencies including Turning Point, Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, Big Yellow Umbrella and Shining Stars Foundation.
• International agencies such as Tearfund and Compassion that encourage and support local groups making positive change in their own country.
• The power of prayer and the simple question - Can I pray for you?

Pray for

• Les Bonfield and a healing of his back problems. 
• Those attending the Alpha course that they are able to get a clear picture of Christianity and God's grace and love.
• September's local goverment elections. 
• The Hutchings (Steve, Nat, Elyse, Daniel and Owen):

  * Pray for their adjustment to life back in the tribe, 
  * Pray for wisdom as they offer medical care to people in the tribe and deal with a range of challenges,
  * Continue to pray for the boys and their friends who have moved away,
  * Continued improvements in their language skills.

• The Castelijn's (Albert and Lynne):

  * Praise God for the recording of the gospel in the Banwan heart language which is nearly complete,
  * Pray for the Banwan church leadership,
  * Pray for Albert's Mum in her new nursing home.
