you've shown me through the years,
for the closeness we've enjoyed
in time of laughter and of tears.

And so, I thank you from the heart
for all you've done for me
and I bless the Lord for giving me
the best mother there could be!

Starting on May 22nd, you have the opportunity to do a deep dive bible study series titled "Sermon on the Mount".

The study involves a weekly podcast for your personal study and reflection and a 1 hour, on-line, sharing and encourgement time via Google Meet.

Please consider donating your no longer used family items to the Toddlers program for the littlest members of our church to enjoy. 

We are looking for cleaned age appropriate resources such as:  

Mobilo, Jumblo 
Animal/ figurines 
Puzzles, books
Balls, Cars
Craft resources- glue sticks,
safe scissors, paper, crayons. 

A labeled container will be placed by the Welcoming hub for collection.

Two of our upcoming Services will include special guests:

1 - On Mothers Day (May 12th) our speaker will be Amanda Fitzgerald.

2 - On June 16th, Steve Hutchings will speak. Following this Service there will be a Mission's lunch at the new Exploring Tree Cobbitty (1pm). 

Also our next Visitors Lunch will be on June 9th.

Our friends at Turning Point are asking for support for their Winter Appeal which aids our marginalised - living between houses, staying with friends or family short term, or in their car.

They are asking for donations of new socks for men, women and children, new fleece blankets, hand knitted blankets, scarves, beanies and toiletries (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, roll-on deodorant (plastic) and wet ones).

They are always in need of non-perishable food items for their crisis pantry and gift cards from Woolworths or Coles to the value of $20.

Donations can be dropped off during their operating hours Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10-2 or left on the front porch anytime.

Praise God for

• The global Church and our church
• Our town.
• The support we receive in many ways, such as friends, family and emergency personnel.
• Those people and agencies around the world working to bring greater justice, fairness and humanitarian aid to the world's trouble spots.

Pray for

• Survivors of domestic violence using a prayer from Common Grace here.
• The families of the surfers who lost their lives in Mexico.
• Those injured and families of those that lost their lives in the recent attacks in Sydney.
• Healing and recovery for congregation members who are sick or recovering from illness.
• Warring parties around our world particularly in Ukraine and Gaza.
  In Gaza pray for those under threat in the latest military action in Rafah, those providing aid and the continual dialogue about a cease fire and prisoner exchange.
  In Ukraine, the President has asked for prayers for soldiers on the front lines.
• The parts of Australia that have been inundated with rain recently. 
• Steve, Nat and family. Also, in the village, pray for healing from illnesses, thankfulness for new life, security concerns and problems with supply lines.
• Albert and Lynne Castelijn as they prepare to return to the Banwaon people.
• Those preparing for the Alpha course in Term 3 and for those who will be invited to participate.
• Wisdom and guidance for our church and our leaders and also for our Local, State and Federal leaders.

As part of the responsible governance of our church we maintain a register of people who work and volunteer in various aspects of church life. Part of this register is the status of a person's Working With Children Check.
